At Bedford Modern Junior School, we believe that art plays a vital role in the curriculum. We aim to inspire and challenge students, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design.
"Artistic experience fuels imagination and in turn imagination fuels creativity" The power of the arts in primary schools
Students embark on a personal journey where they can develop and progress at their own rate. They are encouraged to develop their visual language, personal creativity and express their ideas and understanding both individually and collaboratively.
As well as learning technical skills and exploring ideas imaginatively art can also foster enhanced well-being and self-esteem.
