Following a visit by representatives of The Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) on 22 and 23 November 2017 to conduct a ‘compliance only’ inspection, BMS has fully met all the required standards. This brief yet important inspection confirms that the School is compliant with all of the specified regulations and associated legal requirements set against a set of eight standards. In this particular inspection schools either meet or do not meet the requirements.
As part of the exercise to gather evidence, the inspectors observed lessons and extra-curricular activities, conducted discussions and interviews with staff and students, analysed responses from parent and student questionnaires and examined samples of students’ work.
Headmaster, Alex Tate, said: “I am grateful to all the staff who worked so hard to ensure such a successful outcome and to parents and students who took the time to support us by completing the mandatory questionnaires.”
