Bedford Modern School (BMS) is an outstanding HMC independent co-educational day school for students aged 7-18. Our community is a friendly, happy and supportive one and all of the 350 staff members, spanning both teaching and non-teaching roles, help to make BMS a very special place to work.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Support Services Manager to join our Estates and Facilities Team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and make a positive impact on the maintenance and operational efficiency of our school’s grounds and facilities.
Reporting to the Head of Estates and Operations, the Site Support Services Manager will oversee the delivery of all site-based operational services at Bedford Modern School, including maintenance, cleaning, grounds, and swimming pool operations. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring that the school’s facilities remain safe, well-maintained, and fully complaint with all relevant regulations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with in-house team and external contractors to ensure the highest quality service delivery, supporting the seamless and efficient running of the school.
