Site Operations Supervisor

£25,000 per annum

Bedford Modern School is an HMC Independent Co-educational Day School located on the outskirts of Bedford. Our facilities are excellent and include a separate Junior School, dedicated Sixth Form building, purpose-built Science Centre opened in 2017 and extensive sports facilities.

We are looking for a hardworking and proactive Site Operations Supervisor to support the Site Operations Manager and caretaking team with a range of admin and caretaking duties including event management and admin, portering, cleaning, security duties to ensure the day to day operations of the school are safe, maintained and carried out to a high standard. You will also deputise for the Site Operations Manager as required.

If you have the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines plus good IT and communication skills and experience of working in a similar role then we would welcome your application. You need to also have a flexible approach to working hours, a positive attitude, and the ability to think smartly and act dynamically as no two days are the same.

This is a full time post, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday working shifts within the school site opening times of 6.30am – 10.00pm. In addition, up to 10 Saturdays per year, working by rotation to meet the needs of the school.
