£33,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).

Bedford Modern School is an HMC Independent Co-educational Day School located on the outskirts of Bedford. Our facilities and grounds are excellent and include a separate Junior School, dedicated Sixth Form building, purpose-built Science Centre opened in 2017 and
extensive sports facilities.
We are seeking to appoint a confident and capable Examinations Manager who will lead the vital work of the Examinations Office and to be responsible for the management, administration, and lead of both public and internal examinations from Year 7 to Year 13 ensuring compliance with exam board regulations.
The successful candidate must have experience of working in an educational setting planning or supporting exams coupled with knowledge of the English public exams system. You must be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, care and organisation, problem solving and IT skills and the ability to use your initiative to respond positively to complex situations. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to work independently as well as part of the wider school community. The ability to meet deadlines whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy is essential.
This post is full time, all year round.
