Rose Cocks

Rose left BMS in 2017, and is in her third year of studying Hispanic Studies and Linguistics at the University of Warwick, having just come back from her year abroad working in Madrid. In this video she discusses her experience as a languages student as well as general thoughts on university life, and describes her future career plans as a solicitor and how she went through the application process as a non-law student.

Francis Keepfer

Francis attended BMS from 2000 to 2009 and went on to study History and Spanish at the University of Manchester. Following two further years of study at the University of Law in Manchester and London, Francis has worked at three international law firms in the City of London, including completing a two-year training contract at DLA Piper UK LLP, and most recently qualifying as a solicitor in the Employment and Reward team at Pinsent Masons LLP in September 2018, where he currently works. Francis’ presentation covers the various options available to students interested in a career in law, explores what a career in law really looks like, and provides some top tips for success.
