Swimming Teacher (Part Time)

Required for September 2024

Bedford Modern School (BMS) is an outstanding HMC independent co-educational day school for students aged 7-18. Our community is a friendly, happy and supportive one and all of the 350 staff members, spanning both teaching and non-teaching roles, help to make BMS a very special place to work.

We are seeking a strong professional to assist with the teaching and coaching of swimming, across curriculum games and PE across the Bedford Modern Schools (year 3-13).

The position will appeal to professionals who are looking to develop their skills and gain experience for a potential career in teaching or sports coaching.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and fully prepared to undertake the demands of working in an outstanding co-educational day school; including assisting with the day to day operational demands of the busy Sports Faculty.

Formal swimming coaching qualifications (UKCC level 1 or equivalent) are essential. Coaching qualifications or playing experience in Water Polo are also desirable. Development opportunities will be available to support the successful applicant.
