Part Time Sports Coach (Rugby)

Required for October 2023.

Bedford Modern School is an HMC Independent Co-educational Day School located on the outskirts of Bedford. Our facilities are excellent and include a separate Junior School, dedicated Sixth Form building and extensive sports facilities.

We are seeking a strong, qualified rugby coach to support our growing rugby provision. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing performance and fostering engagement across the rugby programme between Years 3-13, as well as promote the reputation of BMS sport.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and fully prepared to undertake the demands of working in an outstanding co-educational day school, including assisting with the day-to-day operational demands of the busy Sports Faculty.

Formal coaching qualifications in any of the school’s other main sports (Netball, Cricket, Swimming, Athletics) to minimum UKCC level 1 or equivalent are desirable but not essential. Development opportunities will be available to support the successful applicant.

This is a paid as advised role, working on average 15 hours per week and may include working weekends.
