Bedford Modern School (BMS) is an outstanding HMC independent co-educational day school for students aged 7-18. Our community is a friendly, happy and supportive one and all of the 350 staff members, spanning both teaching and non-teaching roles, help to make BMS a very special place to work.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grounds person to join our Estates team. As a Grounds person, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the natural and artificial play surfaces, shrubs, lawns and plantings across our expansive 40-acre site. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor maintenance in all weathers.

This is a full-time post, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4pm plus a minimum of 10 Saturdays by rotation to meet the needs of the school.
