Academic excellence. Individual ambition.

Foundations then choice

Our Sixth Form curriculum combines academic rigour with exceptional flexibility. With 27 A Level subjects available and no fixed option blocks, we can usually build a programme around each student’s individual interests, strengths and aspirations. This allows students to create a personalised pathway that reflects who they are and where they want to go.

Learning extends well beyond examination specifications. Through academic enrichment, guest speakers, trips, extension opportunities and the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), students are encouraged to explore ideas in greater depth, think independently and develop the intellectual curiosity that underpins long-term success.

Preparing for what comes next

Just as importantly, students benefit from expert guidance as they plan their future. Our dedicated UCAS support programme and award-winning careers provision help students make informed choices about university, apprenticeships and career pathways, ensuring they are well prepared for life beyond BMS.

By the time students leave the Sixth Form, they have not only achieved excellent academic outcomes but have also developed the independence, confidence and ambition to thrive in whatever comes next.

Academic excellence, tailored to individual ambition.
