We run a variety of open events during the year ranging from personal tours and action mornings to our annual Open Day. You are also able to explore the BMS campus on our interactive map here.

Morning Session, 10am – 12pm

Afternoon Session, 1pm – 3pm

Our Open Day is a fantastic way to get a feel for what BMS has to offer. Hear from the Headmaster, join our students on a tour around the School and have your questions answered by members of staff.

Junior School Taster Days

We are delighted to offer children the opportunity to spend a morning with us and experience a taste of school life here at Bedford Modern Junior School. They will participate in a variety of lessons and activities designed to let them discover a little more about what it’s like to be a student in the Junior School.

Years 3 and 4 sessions – offered for children currently in Years 2 and 3. Sessions will run from 9.30am to 11.30am. To book, please use our online form here.

Years 5 and 6 sessions – offered for children currently in Years 4 and 5. Sessions will run from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. To book, please use our online form here.

Please do note, however, that sessions are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Sixth Form Taster Days

We are delighted to offer Year 12 Taster Days to prospective students who are currently in Year 11. These taster days are an excellent way to meet current Sixth Form students and experience life at BMS. Lunch will be provided and is another useful opportunity to meet with Sixth Form students who are studying the subjects your child may be considering.

Where possible, we hope to place each prospective student into at least two of the subject areas that they are considering. You can find the list of subjects we offer at A Level in our Sixth Form Information Booklet here.

Personal Tours
