Bursaries
Opportunity for all
We believe that a Bedford Modern School education should be open to talented young people, whatever their financial circumstances. Through the Harpur Trust, we are able to offer means-tested financial support to families who would otherwise be unable to consider, or continue an education at BMS.
Academic bursaries are available for Students joining the school from Year 7 onwards. Awards are assessed according to a student’s academic attainment/achievement, alongside their family’s financial circumstances.
BMS bursary scheme
Bursaries can cover up to 100% of annual fees, helping to ensure that talented students can benefit from the opportunities available at Bedford Modern School.
Please note that our bursary fund is limited, and financial assistance is not guaranteed if a place is offered.
