I would like to begin by thanking 6EAW for their assembly last Friday. Their theme was Kingswood and they did a super job of telling us all about their residential adventure. It is clear that Year 6 had a fabulous time and have made lots of memories for the future. Very well done, 6EAW and Mr Warren.
On Wednesday Year 5 children will be taking part in a Djembe workshop so no doubt the walls of my office will be shaking rather a lot throughout the day. There will probably be a lot of sore hands too, but it is well worth it for such a fun opportunity.
It is great to have seen so many children representing the school in the Cricket and Rounders fixtures so far this term and I am sure that they will represent the school to the best of their ability in any forthcoming fixtures too (so long as the weather remains on our side). Good luck to everyone involved.
A reminder that there is a rehearsal for the cast of James and the Giant Peach on Saturday morning from 9am until 1pm. Please arrange to collect your children promptly at 1pm if they are involved – thank you.
Next week is our exam week but we like to keep this fairly low key, especially for our younger children. There is no need for any extra work, other than what they are being set as part of their Prep, as they will be given lots of guidance in school. Please make sure that they have sensible bed times etc as this will help enormously.
