The Curriculum

The Junior School Curriculum has been developed specifically to meet the needs of the girls and boys in the school, ensuring they are suitably challenged. The core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science form the backbone of our academic teaching and we aim for excellence in all areas of the curriculum. 

We aim to recognise and nurture our pupils' individual talents by creating a happy and safe environment. An environment in which we use a variety of activities that encourage learning to a greater degree than may be possible elsewhere. At Bedford Modern Junior School there is a happy blend of traditional teaching styles with all that is best in modern practice.
