The Science Faculty incorporates the Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology Departments. In addition we offer Combined Science in the Junior School and Middle School.

We aim to promote the sciences in a way which will both retain the identity of each of the disciplines and recognise the common content and skills of science.

Our curriculum is designed to allow smooth progression from the Junior School through to the end of the Sixth Form. We aim to equip students with the necessary scientific skills which are so highly valued in today's world. In all this we want our students to become scientifically literate members of society, capable of making informed choices which will affect their future.

Through co-operation we offer students a high quality education both in and out of the laboratory so that if they choose they can pursue the sciences beyond GCE Advanced level and become the scientists of tomorrow.

Each department has an enthusiastic subject specialist to lead it. The Heads of Department work in partnership with the Head of Faculty and the Head of Middle School Science to ensure that our curriculum meets our aims.
