The final of the Bedford Rotary Club Musician of the Year competition was held in the Christopher Fry Hall at Bedford Modern School on Thursday 19 January 2012.

Five of the six finalists were Bedford Modern School pupils who were competing in the younger category including Zac Wilde, Adam Wu, James Harding, Priyanka Kotak (all Year 6) and Nabila Eldin (Year 7).

Zac played 'Flood Time' and 'Andante' on the piano, Adam played 'Clowns', 'Chez Le Forgeron' and 'Study in A Minor' on the piano and James Harding played 'Over The Rainbow' and the 'James Bond Theme' on the violin.

Adam Wu was awarded Second Place and Zac Wilde was awarded Third Place.  Well done to all Bedford Modern School pupils who participated in the competition.
