Junior School House System
In the Junior School every pupil is attached to one of the four Junior School Houses.
Kaye (GREEN)
Liddle (BLUE)
Poole (RED)
Taylor (YELLOW)
At the beginning of the school year a girl and a boy from Year 6 are chosen to be the House Captain. This is a great honour for those children.
A huge variety of sporting, academic and artistic activities take place which are House based. Including, House Conker Competition, House Music, House Quiz, House Dodgeball, Swimming, Football, Rugby, Hockey, Rounders, Athletics.
There is a 'Work Shield' awarded at the end of the academic year to the House with the most housepoints. These can be gained by completing good work, showing good manners or considerate behaviour.
There is also an overall Top House which includes all the other competitions and the academic House points.
