Congratulations to Year 8 pupil Vincent Rustill who has just completed the seventh and final modular exam of the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL).
This is an excellent achievement for 12 year old Vincent as most pupils do not complete the final module until the end of Year 9.
ECDL is an internationally recognised computer skills certification programme covering some 60 countries. The qualification is recognised as the international benchmark for basic computer competence.
Bedford Modern School is one of the world-wide test centres having gained accreditation in 2003.
Phil Smith, ICT teacher at BMS said: "Vincent showed determination from the outset to meet the challenge of the ECDL and we are delighted that he has completed the final module. He is now keen to continue to the next level, the advanced ECDL."
