More report writing beckons this week with Year 10 reports to be completed before the Half-Term break.
On Tuesday, I look forward to speaking to some of you at the second of our Year 11 Parents' Evenings.
Our Junior School pupils compete in their annual House Music event on Wednesday hosted and adjudicated by The Songmen. The Songmen are an international multi-award winning professional a cappella ensemble and will perform in a Junior School Concert later that evening.
I hope that many of you will come along to our Dance Showcase on Thursday at 7.00pm in the Howard Hall. From ballet to modern and from tap to street dance, pupils from Years 3 to 13 will perform solo and group pieces devised during their peripatetic dance lessons.
Unfortunately, due to the cold weather our Quarter Final match against Trinity School in the Daily Mail RBS U15 Rugby Cup was postponed on Thursday 2 February due to a frozen pitch. It is hoped that, subject to the weather, this fixture can be re-arranged before Half-Term.
Sporting activities planned for this week include the Girls' Hockey Indoor County Tournament, the Boys' Hockey U18 National Schools Championships, Football, Netball, Athletics, an Equestrian event and the Henley Fours and Eights Head for girls and boys from Years 9 to 13.
Congratulations to Year 12 student James Cullen who has been awarded this year's Robert Luff Medical Scholarship. This is an essay-based competition for Sixth Form students seeking a career in medicine. Find out more about James' winning entry at http://www.bedmod.co.uk/en/BMS Medical Scholarship
