Although there are only a few weeks remaining until the end of term, this is an extremely busy period with many events, concerts, exhibitions and trips taking place between now and then.
This week, our Year 12 students visit the National Theatre whilst on Monday 20th June our Year 3 pupils will enjoy a trip to Whipsnade Zoo.
Examinations take place throughout the week for our Year 7 and 8 pupils whilst public examinations continue until 29th June.
I am looking forward to seeing our student GCSE, AS and A2 Level artwork that will be on display in the King Room for a special viewing on Wednesday 22nd June between 7.00pm and 8.30pm.
On Thursday we are holding another of our School "In Action" Days enabling prospective families to visit us and see Bedford Modern School in action on a normal working day.
Also taking place on Thursday is our Year 9 Enrichment Programme looking at space travel whilst later that evening our Year 10 Parents' Evening takes place.
I hope you have obtained your tickets for the annual Strawberries and Cream Concert on Friday evening which will be a superb way to relax and round off a busy week.
Finally, good luck to all our pupils participating in sporting activities over the weekend and many congratulations to Year 13 student, Adam Ingledew, who has been shortlisted for selection to swim at the Commonwealth Youth Games taking place in the Isle of Man in September.
