Case Study 1

Joshua Taylor is 12 years old and is in Year 7.  He has been on several Holiday Activity Courses at BMS including I.T. and Multi-Activity.  Last Easter he took part in the hugely popular Survival Adventure Skills (S.A.S.) course.

"The S.A.S. course has been my favourite so far", said Joshua.  "It is so much fun that I am planning to do it again.  I have learnt lots of things on this course including how to build a tent, camouflage, a variety of army crawling techniques and lots of teamwork skills", he said.

Joshua believes that BMS offer a good choice of Holiday Activity Courses but would also like to see a Judo course offered.  He has occasionally used the Early Birds/Late Flyers facilities where he particularly enjoys being able to play pool and table-tennis.  He likes the new design of the Holiday Activity Course brochure which he thinks is interesting to read.

Joshua rates the course instructors as "nice and very helpful" and says he would definitely recommend the Holiday Activity Courses to his friends.  He says he has made lots of new friends and sums up the Holiday Activity Courses as fun, interesting and exciting.
