Junior School Curriculum

The following information provides details of the Bedford Modern Junior School curriculum. Whilst information is provided for all year groups and all subjects, further detail is always available on request.

In order to understand the context of our curriculum, some important general points are provided below:

• The school operates a ten-day cyclical timetable. A cycle is therefore spread over two weeks. This arrangement gives us the opportunity and flexibility to offer a broad, comprehensive curriculum
• Each subject’s entry has been written by the Junior School subject co-ordinator(s). Subjects have been listed in alphabetical order
• Our curriculum is regularly reviewed and changes are made when necessary to ensure that we are employing the best possible methods and providing the best education.
